We know that many of you were concerned when it became apparent that Bude Motor Club members Alan Hawkins (A.J.Motor services) and Colin Stretton (Colin's Garage) were taking a new direction in life, Alan taking semi-retirement and Colin having to close his popular premises in Kilkhampton. They had always offered great local service to all our members and had a specialist knowledge and aptitude for Classic Car repairs and refurbishment.
But worry no more! Colin has closed his garage in Kilkhampton and relocated to the A.J.Motor Services premises in Bude on the Petherick Mill Industrial Estate. This much enlarged garage, is now complete with MOT facilities and state of the art diagnostic equipment for all of our needs. The new Bude business has taken on the 'Colin's Garage' name and has a number of new skilled staff together with Alan Hawkins who is still working there part-time. Why not pay them a visit and see the set-up for yourself?
Colin is also offering a generous discount to all genuine BMC members on production of a current memebership card, so make sure you get a quote there first! MOT test for example, to club members, is only £37.00.
Here is a quote from their new website:
"In June 2016 we moved Colin’s Garage from Kilkhampton where we had been based for six and a half years. Colin Stretton teamed up with Steve Townsend, who Colin worked with in Basingstoke, and took over A J Motor Services at Pethericks Mill. They now bring over 50 years of combined expertise to Bude. Colin’s Garage is modern yet built on traditional values and service. Colin’s Garage is the one stop shop for all repairs in Bude, North Cornwall.
Pop in and talk to Colin, Steve or any of the team to discuss any problems or concerns you have with your car, van or light commercial vehicle. We are here to help."
